Clarity refers to the amount of inclusions
  or imperfections in your Diamond.

All Diamonds contain some form of inclusion or imperfection. These may include: scratches, traces of minerals and other imperfections. Most imperfections in gem quality Diamonds are not visible to the naked eye.

A system to grade the clarity of your Diamond is in place to help determine its value. Diamonds with a lower Clarity grading have numerous inclusions and may appear dull and lifeless. The diamond clarity system uses numbers and letters to portray the extent of flaws within each stone. The number and size of inclusions or imperfections determines the clarity grading.

Clarity is graded under 10-x magnification. Grades correspond to the International Clarity Grading Scale.
